 Reflections

Blog Post

  1.  What role did you take on

We all shared the roles equally and all took part in every part of the cooking tasks and i would like to work with this group again

  1.  What new skill/s did you learn?

Together as a team of three we learnt teamwork and we also     taught Maria how to bake for one of her first times.

  1.  Was the recipe easy to follow?

Yes we did add some of our own things like food colouring and marbling it on the top and it turned out the way we wanted we also we put icing sugar on the top

  1.  Did the finished product look and taste the way you expected it to? Yes it was really nice and wasn't too heavy to eat by the end we cutted it into equal pieces it was lite and fluffy and would gladly make it again

  2.  Improvements

What can you do next time to improve your end result? Next time we could get some normal cream so it could have formed properly and we wouldnt of had to whip it more then one time

Comments - Did your group work together well?

Yes our group worked very well to

Hygiene

  1.  Three steps you took to make sure you kept your cooking hygienic?   **Or should have taken.

  2. Washed hands

  3. Keep chromebooks and bags away from the station.

  4. Washed dishes.

  1. Hi Koiora

I'm the Manaiakalani Secondary Specialist, and I'm always on the lookout for good blog posts about students' learning.
It looks as thought your baking was a huge success, well done you! Were you making scones?

Your blog post reminded me of lemonade scones that I used to make, with a can of flat lemonade. They always turned out light and fluffy and were devoured in an afternoon.

Wonderful to hear that your team collaborated and supported each other, that can make cooking so much fun!

What else are you planning to bake?
